“O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine.”

Surah Al Falaq also known in English as "The Daybreak" is a short surah with five verses, seeking protection from various forms of evil. The Surah is often recited for protection from the evil of created beings, the darkness of night, those who practice witchcraft, and the envy of others.

"I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, From the evil of what He has created; And from the evil of the darkening (night) as it comes with its darkness; (or the moon as it sets or goes away). And from the evil of the witchcrafts when they blow in the knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies."
